Can I get a custom size window? - Top Special size vinyl greenhouse windows are available in any size between 2’0 x 2’0 and 6’0 x 5’0. Please contact a dealer in your area for special limitations and pricing. 4. What are the benefits of Vinyl vs. Aluminum? - Top Vinyl has, on average, about 75% less conductivity than Aluminum. This translates into a better thermal performance, and much greater condensation resistance. Also, in white or almond, the finish is never going to rub off. The material is the same color throughout its structure. 5. I’m a homeowner, can I purchase direct? - Top Unfortunately, we are not structured to sell directly to homeowners. If there are no dealers in your zip code, pleases e-mail us and we will happily help locate a dealer near you. 6. Can we get sculptured grids? - Top Sculptured grids are not available. We do offer a flat 5/8” grid (marginal pattern and most special grid patterns can be accommodated). 7. What colors are available? - Top White interior is standard with White exterior windows. Almond interior (with a black bottom board) is standard with Almond exterior. Special exterior color windows are manufactured with White interior (limited color selection, ask your dealer for chart of colors available). 8. What is the window projection? - Top The inside projection is 16” and the outside projection is 17 3/16”. 9. Can we tile into the window? - Top Our 4’0 X 3’9 unit is designed for most kitchen counter applications. The bottom board will easily hold 25 lb per square foot. The thickness from the bottom board to the operating vent is 1 ¾” but we recommend a maximum accommodation of 1”- 1 ¼”. Exterior support brackets are recommended when tiling into the window.
